CHAPTER-1-SG-Y-1-S-1-D-8 (SUMMER)
Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both up fairly early though it was already light out when they got up that morning.Their plans for the day after using the washrooms and eating breakfast at Garden House were to get as much harvested as they could to earn enough money for more wall sections to be built on their house later on.
Eli stayed at Garden House and got to work in the garden there while Ami ended up heading to Garden Market in the town center to work there for the day.They broke it up like that to cover more ground in one day and earn more money at one time.
Ami was also bust working in the garden getting produce harvested for most of the day because he wanted to see their house get built before winter arrived.They'd both come over knowing that winters in northern Maine where they would be living were to be very cold and hard winters with lots of snow most years.Eli ended up showing up at Garden Market later in the afternoon as Ami was about to finish working and need to use a washroom and get some dinner to eat before heading back to their lot for the evening.
They both ended up taking turns to sell their produce at the grocery store while the other was using a washroom or preparing dinner.Ami was in the washroom while Eli sold her produce.
It was Ami's turn to sell the produce while Eli was fixing dinner for both of them and they both ate the dinner before Eli had to use a toilet before they left for home.
They got home at 7PM and had to get the new section of wall up before getting into the tent to get to sleep.They were tired and grateful to have more of the house built before going to sleep for the night.It meant they were closer to having the house done and it was only mid-summer so far.
